Midwest Mini Sheep Featured in The County Journal

Midwest Mini Sheep was recently featured in an article written by Tracy Shick for The County Journal. The piece highlights our ongoing work in Bellevue, Michigan, focusing on our heritage sheep upbreeding program, pasture management practices, and overall farm vision.

The article details our farm's journey, starting with our working Border Collies and growing into our strategic upbreeding initiative for Ouessant sheep. It covers our 30 rotational paddocks just outside of town, the recent expansion of our browsing goat herd, and the Stress Relief Days we host for University of Olivet students. It also features our milestone from this past March, when artificial insemination using imported genetics produced the first 15/16 American Ouessant lambs born in the United States.
